  • Urgent Crisis Intervention
  • Individual Counseling and Support
  • Education and Skills Training
  • Pharmacotherapy
  • Consultation

Service includes initial assessment and follow-up in addition to regular session. Referrals are made to outside sources when appropriate.

Referral can be made by self, family, friend, classmates or faculty.

NOTE:  Consultation with faculty is available to provide education on the identification and referral of students having difficulty.

Appointments for services are offered during regular daytime business hours,

Monday through Friday.

Services are FREE.  There is no charge to HSC students.

Access to service is VOLUNTARY. Some administration policies will allow faculty and staff to recommend strongly that a student meet with an HSC counselor or physician, but each student can discuss with a dean's representative his or her choice to refuse the referral.

Services are CONFIDENTIAL. Information will only be shared when written consent is granted to the service provider, or in any case which raises the duty to report dangerousness.
