SOUL - Student Outreach at the University of Louisville
SOUL is a student driven peer counseling/intervention program which provides peer support among medical students.
SOUL representatives are concerned students who make themselves available to their classmates who may be experiencing problems and may need someone to listen, offer advice or provide referral. Names and phone numbers of SOUL representatives are emailed to all students.
SOUL representatives may be contacted by a student seeking assistance or may intervene when observing a problem. Confidentiality is of prime importance.
Students interested in serving as SOUL representatives should contact Carolyn Childress, 852-3267, Room 210 A Building.
