Course Description:
Instruction in correlating studies of normal and abnormal roentgen anatomy, pathology and physiology.   Specific didactic lectures for medical students will be given weekly. Attendance at daily conferences, film reading sessions and student's teaching sessions.  Rotation through the radiology departments of ER, G.I., chest, neuroradiology, ultrasound and C.T..  One evening will be spent in the emergency room radiology area.  Attendance policy is strictly enforced.

Goals:

  1. To gain didactic knowledge in correlating normal and abnormal roetgen anatomy, pathology and physiology;
  2. To receive general exposure to the whole spectrum of diagnostic radiology from general radiology to advanced diagnostic imaging; and
  3. To receive instruction in the clinical; application of diagnostic radiology in diagnosis and therapy.

Method of Evaluation:
Attendance, performance, participation and case presentation.
